Immaculate. A. Okello

Immaculate A. Okello is a Public Health Senior Practitioner and Inclusion Development Officer at Southampton City Council since May 2022, where the focus is on the Holiday Activities and Food Programme aimed at enhancing access to nutritious meals and activities for children during school holidays. Additionally, Immaculate serves as a Qualitative Researcher at the University of Southampton from December 2021 to May 2024. Prior experience includes the role of Nutrition Officer at the Lutheran World Federation from July 2018 to September 2020, coordinating a World Food Programme funded Maternal-Child Health and Nutrition program for refugee communities. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from Makerere University, a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Southampton, and currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Primary Care Research & Population Science at the University of Southampton, expected to complete in April 2026.
