Padya Paramita

Padya Paramita is an accomplished educator and creative professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Creative Writing and Composition at Southern Connecticut State University, where responsibilities include teaching workshops in fiction and poetry while integrating pop culture into the curriculum. As the Founder of the food blog Doughnt Stop Me Now since 2017, Padya shares culinary insights and experiences. Previous roles include Adjunct Professor at the University of New Haven, where Padya won the "Disable the Label" award for promoting accessibility, and Co-Editor-in-Chief of Dream Glow Magazine, a literary publication inspired by BTS. Additional experience encompasses roles as Digital Content Specialist and Graduate Coach at InGenius Prep, Research Assistant at Columbia University School of the Arts, and Writing Assistant and Screenwriter at Chabial, contributing to notable film projects. Padya holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University and a Bachelor's Degree from Wellesley College, complemented by international education at UWC Mahindra College.
