Rolando Enrique Silva Aviles, CAPM®, has extensive experience in the mining and metallurgy sector, particularly with SOUTHERN PERU COPPER CORPORATION, where roles have included Jefe General de Lixiviación Botaderos Toquepala since July 2008, focusing on operational control and optimization of lixiviation processes. Prior to this, from January 2005 to December 2007, Rolando worked as a Metalurgista de Lixiviación Botaderos, responsible for planning copper production and irrigation cycles. Earlier experience as a Metalurgista de Planta involved controlling and evaluating operational variables in the crushing, agglomeration, and lixiviation processes. Rolando's educational background includes a degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Tarapacá, specialized courses in project management, and a diploma in extractive metallurgy, highlighting a solid foundation in both technical and managerial aspects of the industry.
