Leigh Carriage

Leigh Carriage is a Senior Lecturer in Contemporary Music at Southern Cross University, a position held since January 1998. Prior experience includes serving as a Vocal and Ensemble Tutor at Eora Aboriginal Performing Arts TAFE College from 1996 to 1997 and as a Vocal Teacher at City East College from 1994 to 1997, focusing on vocal tuition and songwriting. Leigh Carriage holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Collaborative Composition and Improvisation from the University of Sydney (2012-2018), a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Improvisation from Southern Cross University (2001-2002), a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Music from the University of New England (1991-1993), and an Associate Diploma of Creative Arts in Music Arts from TAFE NSW (1988-1990).
