Jennifer Rassmussen

Jennifer Rassmussen, LPN, CPC has a diverse work experience spanning across various healthcare organizations. Jennifer'smost recent role was as a Lead Nurse at SouthernMED Pediatrics, where they demonstrated strong leadership skills. Prior to that, they worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at both SouthernMED Pediatrics and MedFirst Staffing. Jennifer also has experience in medical billing and insurance claims, having held positions such as Billing Office Coordinator/Insurance Claims Specialist at CRC Health Group and Claims Research Team Lead at Med Pro Solutions, LLC. In addition, they have worked at Straub Clinic and Hospital as a Patient Account Representative/Lead Analyst/Physician Coder Liaison, where they gained expertise in coding and documentation issues. At Stanley M.K. Chung, MD, they served as an Office Manager/Medical Assistant/Medical Transcriptionist/Biller, demonstrating their ability to handle various administrative responsibilities.

Jennifer Rassmussen, LPN, CPC, obtained a Diploma in Practical Nursing, Vocational Nursing, and Nursing Assistants from Midlands Technical College between 2016 and 2019. In 2004, they received a Certification in Physician Coding from the American Academy of Professional Coders. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism from the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 2000 to 2002, and an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Kapi‘olani Community College from 1995 to 1999.

In addition to their degrees, Jennifer Rassmussen has acquired additional certifications. Jennifer obtained Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification from the American Heart Association in March 2022. In October 2004, they became a Certified Physician Coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders. Furthermore, they received their Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) in April 2019.
