Hatton Valentine

Hatton Valentine has over two decades of experience in the mortgage banking industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Secondary Marketing at SouthState Bank Mortgage since June 2012, Hatton Valentine focuses on developing and integrating mortgage loan programs and evaluating loan origination systems. Prior to this role, Hatton Valentine worked at RBC Bank from August 2008 to June 2012 as Georgia Producing Manager, where duties included building a team of loan officers and collaborating with operations to create new loan products. At Georgia State Bank, Hatton Valentine served as Vice President from March 2001 to August 2008, successfully establishing the mortgage department and managing investor relationships. Additionally, Hatton Valentine founded Valentine Mortgage Company, LLC in January 1999, achieving significant loan production. Hatton Valentine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
