Joseph Alcaraz

Joseph Alcaraz is an experienced risk engineering professional with a career spanning over 30 years in the insurance industry. Currently serving as Associate Vice President of Risk Engineering at Sovereign Insurance since December 2015, Joseph is responsible for the transformation of Loss Control Services to National Risk Engineering Services, supporting various commercial and specialty lines. Previously, as Director of Risk Services for Northbridge Insurance, Joseph managed the Transportation & Logistics Consultant Team and oversaw a training facility in Ontario. At Lombard Canada Ltd, Joseph held multiple roles, including National and Central Region Manager, where significant achievements included the development of a new risk control reporting system. Starting in the industry as a Loss Control Representative at Continental Canada Ltd, Joseph holds a Civil Engineering degree from Ryerson University.
