Laila Abdallah

Laila Abdallah is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in political communication and media within the German Bundestag and related organizations. Currently, Laila serves as the Speaker of the First Parliamentary Secretary of the SPD-Bundestagsfraktion, as well as the Deputy Head of the Press Office for the same organization, a role held since December 2020. Prior experience includes working as a Referentin at Deutscher Bundestag and various editorial and planning positions at Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg from April 2001 to June 2016. Additionally, Laila acted as a juror for the Grimme-Preis at the Grimme-Institut between January 2012 and May 2014. Laila Abdallah holds a Diplom in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin and has also studied at the John F. Kennedy School in Berlin.
