Ran Meir is a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at SpearUAV since April 2023, with a diverse background in mechanical engineering and project management. Previous roles include R&D Mechanical Design Engineer at REE, where tenure lasted from November 2020 to April 2023, and Supervisor at BGR Formula Student during September 2021 to July 2022, overseeing final projects for B.Sc. students. Ran's earlier experiences include working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Elbit Systems Ltd, Mechanical Engineering Crew Leader and Suspension Team Manager at BGRacing Team, as well as a Consultant at Matrix. Ran began a career in the Israeli Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller Officer and Captain in reserves, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making skills. Educational credentials include dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, earned between 2014 and 2018.
