Thomas Dohmke

Thomas Dohmke is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in product management and leadership. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at GitHub since October 2018, Thomas has also held roles as Chief Product Officer and Vice President of Strategic Programs within the same organization. Concurrently, Thomas is a board member at Spice AI. Prior to joining GitHub, Thomas worked at Microsoft from April 2015 to October 2018 as Principal Director of PM, overseeing a diverse product portfolio after Microsoft's acquisition of HockeyApp, which Thomas co-founded and led as CEO from 2011 to 2015. Additional entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding Codenauts GmbH, with a strong focus on mobile app development, and founding ToDoSoft, which developed insurance software. Thomas holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and a Dipl.Ing. in Computer Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin.
