John Taylor

John Taylor is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Deputy Chief Engineer and Head of Engineering at Spirit AeroSystems since October 2020, leading the Airbus A220 Program. With a robust background in design and project management, John has played key roles in various capacities, including Senior Project Engineer and Senior Design Engineer on significant aerospace projects. Prior experience includes a tenure at Bombardier, where John developed mechanical and structural designs for the A220 Advanced Composite Wing Program, alongside contributions in quality engineering at Moyola Precision Engineering. Educational qualifications include multiple Master’s degrees in Advanced Composites, Manufacturing Management, and a BEng in Aerospace Engineering.
