Lex Toumbourou

Lex Toumbourou is the Chief Technology Officer at Splash. Prior to this, they were the Lead Consultant at ThoughtWorks from May 2018 to February 2020. Lex was also the CTO at Scrunch from September 2014 to March 2018, where they were responsible for setting the company’s technology strategy, managing budgets and handling escalations. Lex has also worked as a Senior Technology Specialist at Telstra from March 2008 to September 2014, where they developed and maintained mission critical assurance tools with a focus on Python-based micro services. Lex is also an expert in front-end development, mostly in AngularJS and vanilla JS, developing intuitive interfaces to keep users productive.

Rhys Perren - Software Engineer, Daniel Clarke - Software Engineer, and Dylan Turner - Software Engineer report to Lex Toumbourou. They work with Isaac Rooskov - Product Owner, Steph Leahy - People & Culture, and Angus Turner - ML Tech Lead. Lex Toumbourou reports to Stephen Phillips, CEO.
