Abhinav Somani

Abhinav Somani has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Abhinav is currently an Angel Investor at The Nestery since 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Director of Growth at SplashLearn from November 2021. Abhinav also served as Director at SplashLearn from November 2018 to October 2021. Abhinav has also worked as an Angel Investor at Urvann, BluSmart, Gaugau, and TrulyMadly - Find your Forever! from 2020 onwards.

Before transitioning into angel investing, Abhinav founded goAktive in 2016, where they served as the Founder till November 2018. Abhinav gained valuable experience as a Senior Manager at Star TV (Star Sports) from October 2012 to August 2015. Additionally, they worked as the Manager of Corporate Development at ESPN Star Sports from February 2012 to September 2012. Earlier in their career, Abhinav held the role of GM of Business Development at IOS Sports & Entertainment from May 2010 to January 2012.

Abhinav Somani has a diverse education history. In 2021-2022, they pursued an Advanced Certificate in Managing Brands & Marketing Communication from MICA | The School of Ideas. Earlier, in 2009-2010, they obtained their MBA in Marketing & Finance from the Indian School of Business. Prior to that, in 2002-2006, Abhinav completed their B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Their high school education in Science & Mathematics was completed from St James' School between 1999-2001. Additionally, Abhinav has obtained a certification in Strategic Partnerships from LinkedIn in May 2021.
