Megan Oechsel

Megan joined SPMB in 2017 as an analyst to support Managing Partner Kevin Barry and long-time Partner Dean Nacey’s ever-growing search practices. Today, Megan works alongside Dean to recruit VP, C-Suite, and Board level executives to GTM and People Leadership roles for high-growth consumer and enterprise clients. Having closed over 50 searches for companies like Nerdwallet, Robinhood, Podium, Airbnb, Checkr, SAP SuccessFactors, Megan has distinguished herself as a firm leader with regard to her meticulous research strategy and unparalleled candidate development.

Originally from the Bay Area, Megan earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Wisconsin–Madison. Rowing competitively all four years of college, she won the IRA National Championship in 2014 in lightweight rowing. Although she’s no longer a competitive rower, Megan remains very active outside of work. On the weekends, you can find her running along the water in San Francisco, exploring new trails in Marin, or going on long walks with family and friends.
