Trevor Oechsel

Over the past 7 years, Trevor has closed over 100 searches with some of the most innovative growth companies in technology, especially in early-stage and Pre-IPO environments. Originally from the Bay Area, he studied Business at the University of Southern California before moving back north in 2014 to launch his career in executive search with SPMB.

Starting as an analyst on Managing Partner Kevin Barry’s team, Trevor has since been promoted several times over to recruiting, and subsequently, search leadership positions. Having now been a Director and project leader for the past two years, Trevor has placed key executives across the nation with clients, such as: Databricks, Coupa, ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Talend, Snyk, Docusign, Couchbase, Rancher Labs, and Venafi.

Trevor is an avid golfer and when he’s not working from home, he spends his free time wandering the golf courses of Northern California on an endless journey to improve his game. Trevor also enjoys wakesurfing in the summers, and as a car enthusiast, he has been sharpening his driving skills at the Sonoma and Laguna Seca Raceways.
