Hank Hwang is the Co Founder and Infrastructure Engineer at SpringRole. Hank has over 8 years of experience in software engineering. Hank started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Kyruus where they were tasked with a dev-ops project of preparing migration of external services to within a virtual private cloud (VPC) using Amazon Web Services. Hank then worked as a Software Architect at SpringRole Inc. where they led development and planning for the Resume Parser and Skills Project. After SpringRole Inc., Hank worked as Senior Software Development Lead at Hulu where they were the tech lead for the team responsible for media rights, DRM, and view limits. Most recently, Hank worked at Disney Streaming as Manager Software Engineering where they managed the Playback Initialization and Orchestration team which is in charge of handling playback initialization for Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, and Star+.

Hwang received their Master of Science in Biotechnology Innovation and Computation from Carnegie Mellon University. Hank also holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Duke University, with a focus in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering. Hwang attended William G Enloe for high school and has also taken distance education courses from North Carolina State University.
