Chris Scofield

Chris Scofield serves as the Assistant General Counsel at SSM Health since October 2018, providing legal support for multiple acute care hospitals and focusing on regulatory matters and telehealth. As an adjunct professor at both Saint Louis University School of Law and Lindenwood University, Chris teaches courses on health law, including topics such as hospital governance and patient care. Previous experience includes roles at Hall Render, where Chris standardized medical staff bylaws, and at Mercy, providing legal guidance for health care systems. Chris holds a Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
