Tom Valdivia

Tom Valdivia, MD, MS, currently serves as Chair of the Quality Committee and a member of the Board of Directors at SSM Health since January 2023. Valdivia is also a Board Trustee for the Canyons Region at Intermountain Health and has held positions including Chairman and member of the Board of Trustees for Homecare and Hospice. With extensive experience as a Senior Advisor at InTandem Capital Partners and an Advisor to the CEO and Chair of the Physician Advisory Council at Forme Financial, Valdivia has significantly contributed to various healthcare organizations. Previous roles include Chief Health and Equity Officer and Chief Health Officer at Bright Health, as well as the founding of Valquist, LLC and Lumināt, focusing on health care delivery processes and patient-generated health information technologies, respectively. Education credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota Medical School and a Master of Science in Medical Informatics from the University of Minnesota.
