St. Vincent Home for Children names James Keeton Director of Programs, St. Vincent

The St. Vincent Home for Children in St. Louis, MO, has announced the appointment of James Keeton as its new Director of Programs. In his role, Mr. Keeton will oversee program operations and the clinical services department to accommodate personalized care and counseling for children and their families. He will also join the Home’s executive leadership team, effective January 11, 2021.

"We are very excited to welcome Mr. Keeton to St. Vincent," said St. Vincent Home for Children Executive Director Latosha Fowlkes. "He is a dedicated mental health professional and brings to the table a unique set of leadership skills and passion for helping youth in need. He understands our community and our clients and shares our dedication to making a difference in the lives of those we serve."

Mr. Keeton has decades of experience working with children in the behavioral health sector, most recently as State Director for Missouri and Ohio for Initial Independence, Inc.. Prior to that, he was Manager of School-Based Services at Provident, Inc., and a therapist at Center Pointe Hospital. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, has a Masters Degree in Counseling, and a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry.

St. Vincent Home for Children Names Latosha Fowlkes as New Executive Director

St. Vincent Home for Children, a nonprofit group in St. Louis that provides professional treatment and residential services for hundreds of struggling children and families at no charge, has named Latosha Fowlkes as the organization's Executive Director. Fowlkes replaces Dr. Carla-Monroe Posey, who led St. Vincent's for nearly six years before retiring in April of this year. "We are thrilled to welcome Latosha to our team," said Tiffany Charles, St. Vincent Home for Children Board of Trustees Chair. "Her years of experience, proven leadership, clinical expertise, and understanding of the needs of our clients are qualities we value as we grow the scope and impact of our mission. We know she will lead St. Vincent with passion and dedication." Fowlkes has over 15 years of experience working at nonprofit organizations. She most recently worked at Epworth Children and Family Services, where she was the Vice President of Older Youth and Supportive Services. Before that, Fowlkes served as the Executive Director at Good Samaritan House of Granite City, and Director of Social Services at Guardian Angel Settlement Association. She earned a Master of Social Work from Illinois State University, is a Certified HUD Housing Compliance Manager. "I am honored to join the dedicated staff, supporters, and volunteers at St. Vincent," said Fowlkes. "There is a deep, rich history and unwavering dedication to helping youth in need that goes back 170 years. I am excited to become part of that tradition and continue this critical mission."
