David Valdman

David Valdman is the Co-Founder of Systems at Standard Cognition. Prior to this, they worked as the Graphics Lead at Mapzen from April 2016 to May 2017. David was also the Chief Architect at famo.us from January 2013 to August 2014. David Valdman obtained their Mathematics Graduate Student from UC Santa Barbara in September 2006 and worked there until September 2012. From September 2014 to October 2015, they took a break to travel. Valdman then worked as a Financial Quant at Gresham Investment from June 2005 to August 2006.

David Valdman received a BA in Mathematics from New York University and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Mathematics from UC Santa Barbara.

David Valdman reports to Jordan Fisher, CEO & co-Founder. David Valdman works with Angie Westbrock - COO, Brandon Ogle - Co-Founder, Machine Learning Engineer, and Evan Shiue - Head of Strategy & Finance.
