Sulaiman Somani

Sulaiman Somani currently serves as a Resident Physician in the Department of Internal Medicine at Stanford Health Care since June 2021. Previously, Sulaiman co-founded Monogram Orthopaedics and held the position of Director of Software Development from January 2017 to January 2019. Sulaiman's experience includes working as a Student Researcher at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from May 2016 to January 2017, focusing on software tools in image processing and computer vision within the Department of Neurosurgery's NeuroSimulation Core. Earlier roles include Editor and News Editor at The Technique from August 2011 to May 2014, where Sulaiman developed the weekly News Section and received a state-wide collegiate news award. Additionally, Sulaiman interned as a Process Engineer at Procter & Gamble in 2012, managing projects that led to significant annual savings. Sulaiman earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from 2015 to 2021 and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015.
