Abhir Joshi

Abhir Joshi is a seasoned firmware engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing communication protocols and firmware for various technologies, particularly in the hearing aid industry and set-top box systems. Currently serving as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Starkey Hearing Technologies since April 2013, Abhir has successfully implemented a new communication protocol over I2C and developed firmware for tinnitus therapy and dynamic range compression. Prior to this role, Abhir held positions at prominent companies such as Entropic Communications, Trident Microsystems, NXP Semiconductors, Imagination Technologies, Conexant Systems, and DG2L Technologies, contributing significantly to firmware design and development in multiple capacities. Abhir holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication and a Diploma in Industrial Electronics from the University of Mumbai.
