Mina Hong

Director, Early Childhood Systems Consulting at Start Early

Mina Hong has extensive experience in early childhood policy and consulting, currently serving as the Director of Early Childhood Systems Consulting at Start Early since February 2018, where responsibilities include providing strategic policy consultation support for the Partnership for Pre-K Improvement. Previously, Mina held various roles within the National Policy Team at Start Early, including Senior Policy Manager and Policy Manager. As an independent consultant from July 2012 to February 2018, expertise encompassed public policy, budget analysis, grant writing, and nonprofit communications. Prior roles include Assessment Project Manager and Adjunct Professor at the University of Michigan, Senior Policy Associate at Michigan's Children, and Project Manager at New Detroit, Inc. Mina holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and Public Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, both from the University of Michigan.
