Mark Gunderson

Mark Gunderson is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in database administration and teaching. Currently serving as the Lead Systems Programmer and Senior Database Analyst for the State of Utah's Department of Technology Services since March 2019, Mark has an extensive history with the State of Utah since 1998. Additionally, Mark has been an adjunct professor at Salt Lake Community College since May 2009, instructing various computer science and information systems courses. Previous roles include Senior Database Administrator at Nevada Power Company and Lead Database Administrator at Geneva Steel, where responsibilities included installation, configuration, upgrades, and data analysis of database systems. Mark's educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, alongside studies at Salt Lake Community College and L.D.S. Business College.
