Paul Fleming

Paul Fleming is executive vice president and global head of State Street’s Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS) group. Paul is responsible for the strategic direction, global sales, product structuring and operations of our hedge, private equity, and real asset fund administration businesses worldwide.

Most recently, Paul was the global head of the hedge fund business within AIS, setting the strategic direction for our hedge fund services. In his previous role as global head of Securities Finance, Paul was responsible for the growth of State Street’s market-leading principle securities finance platform. As a part of his responsibilities Paul developed, grew and managed our Enhanced Custody business, which allows alternative asset managers and investors to add a custody-based complement to existing prime brokerage relationships as well as a unique form of financing in an evolving regulatory environment. He joined the firm in 2001.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.
