Petra Townsend

Petra Townsend is the current Head of People at Step. Petra has over fifteen years of experience in Human Resources and training. Petra started their career at lululemon athletica in 2006 as a Training, People, & Culture Manager. Petra then moved on to The Valley School where they served on the Board of Directors for nine years. In November 2014, Petra joined ClassPass as their Senior Director of People & Culture and served in that role for seven and a half years before moving to Step in January 2022.

Bryan Liu - Head of Talent, Rochelle Williams Brann - Head of People Programs report to Petra Townsend. Petra Townsend reports to CJ MacDonald, Founder & CEO. Petra Townsend works with George L. Bowen - COO, Carter Hansen - Head of Content, and Greg Hill - Head of Design.
