Rebecca Sheldon

Rebecca Sheldon is a Frontend Engineer at Stockwell. Rebecca previously worked at Stockwell as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2017 to July 2020. During their time at Stockwell, they made significant contributions to the engineering pipeline. Some of their most notable accomplishments include reducing the time-to-receipt from 12 hours to 30 minutes, evaluating and green-fielding both the Android and iOS apps using React Native, and reducing new-user onboarding churn by 15%. Rebecca is also responsible for major parts of code best practices, engineering infrastructure, and continuous integration pipeline. In addition to their engineering accomplishments, Rebecca has also mentored junior engineers who have gone on to work at Google and TikTok.

Rebecca Sheldon graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Classics & Commerce. Rebecca then attended MakerSquare - School of Software Engineering where they studied Full Stack Software and Web Development.
