Mateo Saavedra del Oso

Mateo Saavedra del Oso is a seasoned professional in sustainability and life cycle assessment (LCA), currently serving as the Manager of Sustainability LCA at Stora Enso since October 2022, focusing on LCI modeling, automation, and GHG protocol compliance. Prior experience includes a predoctoral researcher role at Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, where contributions were made towards developing life cycle-based tools and optimizing biobased emerging technologies within the H2020 USABLE Packaging Project. Additionally, Mateo gained valuable experience as a visitor predoctoral researcher at Universiteit Leiden, developing methodologies for prospective LCA. Educational achievements include a PhD in Chemical and Environmental Engineering and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and Bioprocesses from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Oviedo.
