Mike Baillargeon

Mike Baillargeon is currently the SVP of Operations at Store Space Self Storage. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Manager of Third Party Management at Extra Space Storage from November 2009 to February 2020. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing and projecting the 5-year performance of prospective self storage management properties. Mike also Captain for new 3rd party management deals from initial discussions through execution of management contract, and managed millions of dollars in annual off budget capital expenditure requests across over 400 properties. Mike has also previously worked as a District Manager at Public Storage from May 2001 to March 2009, where they had profit & loss responsibility for a $75 million/20 employee self-storage portfolio. In this role, they were responsible for managing and directing occupancy, collections, sales, product placement and maintenance activities of property managers, as well as recruiting, hiring, and training property teams to promote adequate staffing and recognize individual talents.

Mike Baillargeon has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross and a Master of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University.
