Nikola Heitmann is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in capital management and financial regulation. Since November 2017, Nikola serves as the Head of Capital Management at Storebrand, following an extensive tenure as an Analyst at KLP from October 2006 to November 2017, focusing on strategic asset allocation and investment strategy. Prior to this, Nikola worked as an Adviser at the Norwegian Ministry of Finance from February 2002 to October 2006, where responsibilities included the regulation of financial markets and the implementation of Basel II capital requirements. Nikola also gained experience as a Hospitant at the European Commission in 2005, engaging with financial markets and intermediaries. Academic qualifications include a CEFA/AFA from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and a degree in Finance and financial economy from the same institution, complemented by a brief period as an exchange student in Economics at the University of Mannheim.
