Alap Shah

Alap Shah is currently the COO at STRAX. Prior to STRAX, Shah held positions at Philips Lighting, Kondor Ltd, BlackBerry, GlaxoSmithKline, DHL, and UTEXRWA S.A.

Shah began their career in 2001 as a Forecasting and Planning Manager at UTEXRWA S.A. In 2006, they became an Operations Agent at DHL before moving to GlaxoSmithKline the following year. Shah spent seven years at BlackBerry from 2008 until 2015, first as a Demand Planning Manager and then as a Sales and operations planning (S&OP) - Consultant at Kondor Ltd from 2015 until 2016. Shah's most recent position before becoming the COO of STRAX was Demand Planning Manager - Consultant at Philips Lighting which they held from December 2015 to April 2016.

Alap Shah has a Bachelor of Commerce from Gujarat University in 1998. Their field of study was statistics, business management. Alap also has a certification from Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce in letter of credit and bills of exchange. Alap has a certification from Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). Alap also has a certification from SSi Consulting in RDBMS.

They are on a team with Johan Heijbel - Chief Financial Officer, Simon Neave - Global Sales Director ROW, and Frank Hackmann - Global Sales Director. Alap Shah reports to Gudmundur Palmason, Chief Executive Officer.
