Amena Razzak

Amena Razzak is a Research Scientist at Strella since December 2023, specializing in post-harvest physiology and protein biochemistry, including expression and purification in various organisms. Razzak has managerial responsibilities in R&D lab operations, focusing on equipment maintenance, workflow efficiency, safety compliance, and resource management. Prior to this role, Razzak served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from August 2021 to August 2023, leading General Chemistry lab sessions and assisting in Biophysical Chemistry labs. Razzak also conducted research in the Wei lab, concentrating on the purification and characterization of calcium binding proteins and mentoring multiple undergraduate and graduate students. Razzak holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a Bachelor's degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
