Chan Leung

Chan Leung has 7 years of professional experience in the software engineering and web development fields. Chan began their career in 2009 with internships at Microsoft, Regence Blueshield and I-booze. In 2010, they worked as a Front-end Web Developer at Addmapp.com, where they developed site flow, linked the front-end UI to the backend database, decreased site load time, customized JQuery plugins and conducted research to understand what social networking features are most valuable to college students. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Aquent Studios as a Frontend Developer and UI Designer. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Submittable.

Chan Leung attended Ballard High School before enrolling in the University of Washington in 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Informatics in 2010. Chan also attended the University of Washington prior to this, though no degree was obtained. In April 2020, Chan Leung obtained a certification in JavaScript (Basic) from HackerRank.
