Zongrui Chen

Zongrui Chen is currently serving as the Geotechnical Technical Lead at Subsea7's Global Project Center since January 2024, following a tenure as Senior Engineer at the same company from October 2017 to January 2024. Prior experience includes working as an Engineer at American Bureau of Shipping from December 2014 to September 2017, where contributions included developing guidance notes on offshore site investigations and the design and installation of various anchor systems. Zongrui Chen also worked as a Research Engineer at the National University of Singapore from January to December 2014, focusing on plate anchors for deepwater floating production systems and spudcan-pile interaction analysis. Early career experience includes project management at Wuhan Urban Road and Bridge Management Center from July 2008 to December 2009, overseeing maintenance projects for urban expressways and bridges. Zongrui Chen completed a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering at the National University of Singapore from 2010 to 2014 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology from 2004 to 2008.
