Poornima D. is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Sciences at UCLA, expected to graduate in 2026. Poornima D. serves as President and Director of Cultural Affairs for the Indian Student Union at UCLA and is involved with the Executive Board of UCLA Honors Fellows. Poornima D. has gained substantial research experience through various internships, including a current role as Associate Researcher and Research Intern at SULA LABS, where notable contributions include developing monthly ingredient reports for product formulation. A recent SULI Machine Learning Intern at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, Poornima D. enhanced neural network accuracy for Alzheimer's Disease classification. Previous research engagements include positions at UC Santa Barbara and Boston University, alongside work as a Barista at Starbucks.
