SunRADON was founded by Sun Nuclear to help people monitor indoor air quality. In 1985, Sun Nuclear developed the world’s first affordable Continuous Radon Monitor to help people monitor indoor air quality and avoid health issues like radon-induced lung cancer. Over the next two decades, Sun Nuclear grew into the worldwide market leader in Radiation Oncology QA. Its commitment to helping communities avoid health issues like cancer had broadened into a mission to help improve the detection and treatment of cancer as well. 

In 2017, Sun Nuclear renewed its focus on the avoidance of health issues due to radon-induced cancer by launching SunRADON -  creating affordable radon detection and mitigation tools that help monitor the air we breathe.
