Kris Luhrsen

Kris Luhrsen is the current VP of North America Sales at SUSE. Prior to this, Kris served as the President of North America Sales at SUSE from August 2017 to August 2020. Kris has also held the position of Senior Vice President of Global Sales at TeamQuest Corporation from October 2015 to December 2016, Senior Director of Sales at VMware from June 2008 to August 2015, and Director of Sales at Cisco from January 2000 to December 2007.

Under Kris’ leadership, the North American sales team at SUSE grew revenue from $102M in 2017 to $197M in 2020. Kris also built out the Inside Sales Team and closed over 143 net new customers. In addition, Kris developed and executed a go-to-market channel strategy which recruited over 193 Partners to the program.

Kris Luhrsen has a Bachelor of Science from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington.

Kris Luhrsen reports to Melissa Di Donato, Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Andy Myers - Chief Financial Officer, Sheng Liang - President Engineering & Innovation, and Jim Holtwisch - Director of the Central Territory.
