Christopher Minter

Christopher Minter was appointed as Head Principal Investments & Acquisitions with effect from October 2013.

Prior to joining Swiss Re in 2013, Christopher held a series of senior positions at Deutsche Bank including Global Head of DB Private Equity, and earlier at PricewaterhouseCoopers working with insurance and banking clients.

As Head of Principal Investments & Acquisitions, he is responsible for the ongoing management of Swiss Re’s principal investments portfolio as well as for acquisitions and divestments of both strategic and financial holdings of the Swiss Re Group.

Christopher received a Masters degree in Law and History from the University of Cambridge and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Having previously lived and worked in London, Prague, Zurich and Frankfurt, he is now based in Zurich.
