Atul Mistry has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Atul currently holds the role of Chief Software Architect at Symbotic, where they are responsible for redesigning the system software and establishing a technology roadmap. Prior to this, Atul worked at Nuance Communications as a Principal Software Architect and Manager of Architecture and Innovation. In this role, they were responsible for defining product architecture and innovation for diagnostic solutions. Before that, Atul was a Software Architect at NaviNet, where they defined product architecture and provided technical guidance for a cloud-based medical insurance portal. Atul also served as the VP of Technology at Verisk HealthCare and DxCG Inc., where they provided strategic leadership for product definition and organizational planning. Atul has also held various roles at Synapsys Technologies, Breakaway, John Hancock Annuities, Synquiry Technologies, and IBM, where they gained valuable experience as a Co-Founder, Regional Technology Officer, Development Architect, Lead Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer, respectively.

Atul Mistry completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth from 1985 to 1989. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Software Systems Engineering at Boston University from 1990 to 1993.
