Henk Derudder

Henk Derudder is a seasoned technical leader with extensive experience in the telecommunications and video delivery sectors. Currently serving as a Technical Lead at Synamedia since January 2012, Henk has been instrumental in designing end-to-end data and control plane architectures for ABR video delivery and leading orchestration platform initiatives for OTT networks. Prior to Synamedia, Henk held the position of Technical Leader at Cisco from 2006 to January 2012, where responsibilities included overseeing architecture teams, interfacing with management and Agile teams, and representing solutions to global customers. Henk successfully led efforts that resulted in a finalist position for the Cisco Pioneer Award and holds a pending patent for innovative transport solutions in ABR networks. Henk's academic credentials include a PhD in Applied Science - Physics and a Civil Engineering degree from Ghent University.
