Ellen Lawrence

Ellen Lawrence graduated from UCLA in 2016 with a degree in anthropology. While at UCLA, they worked as a research assistant on a mobile application project. After graduation, they worked as a legal assistant at LiLaw Inc. for two years. There, they meticulously proofread and edited documents, analyzed local court rules, and created and updated protocols. In May 2019, they began working as an engineer at Synapse.

Ellen Lawrence has a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Ellen also has a degree in Computer Software Engineering from Hackbright Academy. In addition, they have completed physics courses at the University of Sussex International Summer School and Italian language courses at the University of California Center in Florence, Italy. Ellen is also certified in Python from the University of Michigan. Finally, they have received certification from Coursera in Capstone: Retrieving, Processing, and Visualizing Data with Python, Python for Everybody Specialization, Using Databases with Python, Using Python to Access Web Data, Python Data Structures, and Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python).
