Jessica Byrne is a criminal investigator and special agent who has worked for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since December 2008. Jessica has conducted complex investigations involving narcotics smuggling, weapons smuggling, human trafficking, human smuggling, child exploitation, and financial crimes. Byrne has also compiled, generated, and analyzed data to support complex financial investigations, including locating personal and business assets of potential suspects and targets. In addition, they have analyzed and presented data-driven research to prosecutors and law enforcement partners in connection with federal crimes. Byrne has developed expertise in cryptocurrency, P2P payment systems and traditional banking systems as well as current financial investigative techniques, including the use of commercial databases, specialized computer software and collaborative tools, and other sources of information.

Jessica Byrne has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
