Jon Michael Gomez

Jon Michael Gomez is a compliance analyst who previously worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from July 2014 to June 2020. In their role at Synapse, they review newly open business accounts to determine if the NAICS code selected by banker at account opening is valid. Jon uses risk tools such as Lexis Nexis and bank software to do extensive research and investigate businesses to make sure they operate as they say they do. If needed, they perform maintenance on the account to change the NAICS code to match. On some occasions, a business relationship will need to be exited due to the prohibited nature.
