Mike Young

Mike Young is an engineer at Synapse. Prior to that, they were the co-founder and CTO of BitReady, a company they started with Patrick Kelly with the goal of simplifying the Bitcoin spending process for consumers and increasing user adoption of the currency by emphasizing its core values. BitReady received funding from StartFast venture accelerator in the summer of 2015.

Previously, Mike worked as a web developer at The College of New Jersey, where they built a series of WordPress plugins providing functionality similar to the initial website. The school ultimately rejected this site in spite of its successful development.

Mike also spent a summer as a camp counselor at Camp Marcella.

Mike Young's educational career began at Hawthorne High School. Mike then attended The College of New Jersey, where they studied Interactive Multimedia & Marketing.
