Esteban Herrera

Industry Head of Public Sector & Defense and Head of North America at Syntel Inc

Esteban Herrera is currently the industry head of public sector and defense, as well as the head of North America at Syntel Inc. Esteban has over 25 years of experience in management consulting and has held various leadership positions at different companies.

Herrera started their career at Accenture in 1996 as a process consultant. Esteban then moved to Riverton in 2000 as their director of consulting. In 2001, they transitioned to NovaSphere Group where they were the president and founder. The NovaSphere Group was a management consulting firm that specialized in operating model transformation and outsourcing lifecycle advisory services.

In 2003, Herrera left the NovaSphere Group and joined Infosys as their senior principal consultant. Esteban then left Infosys in 2007 to join The Concours Group as their vice president. A year later, they transitioned to Alsbridge where they became their managing director.

In 2010, Herrera left Alsbridge and became the chief operating officer for HFS Research. Esteban stayed at HFS until 2012 when they joined Information Services Group (ISG) as their global leader for ISG Research and regional leader for Latin America. Esteban Herrera has been with Syntel Inc since October 2019 and currently holds the position of industry head of public sector & defense and head of North America.

Esteban Herrera has a BS from Babson College in Business and they are currently completing the Executive Programme in Digital Innovation at INSEAD.

Their manager is Rakesh Khanna, CEO. They are on a team with Julien Bensaid - Industry Head of Telecom, Media & Technology, Philippe Paban - Head of Southern Europe, and V. S. Raj - Industry Head of Financial Services & Insurance and KPO.
