Sameer Arora

Sameer Arora is the current Industry Head of Manufacturing at Syntel Inc. Sameer has held this position since October 2018. Prior to that, they were with Atos Syntel for four years, where they served as the Industry Head - Manufacturing. In this role, they were responsible for building and growing the applications and digital services business with global manufacturing clients.

Before their time at Atos Syntel, Sameer worked for Syntel for twelve years, heading up Strategy & Corporate Development. In this role, they were responsible for Mergers, Acquisitions and Strategic Alliances, and reported directly to the Founder-Chairman. Sameer was a member of the core team involved in the 2018 acquisition of Syntel Inc. by Atos group for $ 3.4 Billion. During the integration, they led the Marketing & Communications work stream to conduct an organization wide rebrand from Syntel to Atos Syntel.

Sameer has extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, and has played a key role in helping Syntel Inc. grow and expand its business. Sameer is a valued member of the company, and their insights and expertise have helped make Syntel Inc. the success it is today.

Sameer Arora has a background in business and production engineering. Sameer holds a PGDM from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute (VJTI), Bombay University. Sameer also has a Higher Secondary Certificate in Science from Ramnivas Ruia Junior College, Bombay, and a Secondary School Certificate in High School from Don Bosco High School, Matunga, Bombay.

Sameer Arora reports to Rakesh Khanna, CEO. They are on a team with Sanjiv Sirohi - Head of Procurement, Facilities & Administration, Murlidhar Reddy - Chief Delivery Officer & Global Head of Practice – Atos|Syntel Operations, and Rajesh Nair - Head – Growing Markets.
