With deep expertise in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), Learning, and Talent Development, Allison Avery has dedicated her professional career to enabling leaders, teams, and organizations to realize their full potential, foster innovation, and support human dignity.

As Chief People & Flourishing Officer at SYPartners, Allison develops and leads our Learning & Flourishing strategy, experience, and execution, while also partnering closely with internal teams on growth pathways and DE&I strategy and impact.

Previously, Allison was the global VP of Inclusion & Community at Dow Jones (WSJ/Factiva), and held talent and inclusion leadership roles at Skadden Arps LLP, Culture@Work (now Seramount Solutions), NYU Langone Health & Hospital System, and NYU Medical School.

She is also a certified Jungian psychoanalyst, and serves on the faculty of the Jungian Psychoanalytic Association and as an analyst member of the International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP).

Allison holds an M.A. in Applied Psychology from New York University and an executive certificate in Human Resources Management from Cornell ILR School. She lives in Brooklyn, is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Morocco), and collects clogs.
