⌨ Yannick Scherer

Yannick Scherer is an experienced technology professional with a background in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as Lead Technologist and Tech Director at Futurice since July 2017, Yannick manages a team of around 20 technologists, focusing on recruitment and the successful delivery of digital projects while enhancing customer platform capabilities. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Software Engineer at Futurice, where Yannick worked on backend systems for energy services, and as a Software Engineer at stylefruits GmbH, developing a variety of Clojure/ClojureScript microservices. Additionally, Yannick has held positions at Telefónica o2 Germany and Technische Universität München, with early experiences in designing test cases for mobile networks and supporting educational workshops. Yannick holds a B.Sc. in Informatik from the Technical University of Munich.
