Baiyun Yao

Baiyun Yao is an accomplished biostatistician with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having served in various roles at Takeda Pharmaceuticals from January 2020 to March 2023, progressing from Principal Statistician to Associate Director of Statistics. Prior to that, Baiyun Yao worked at Alkermes as a Senior Biostatistician from January 2018 to November 2019, and previously at Boston Medical Center as a Research Assistant at the Amyloidosis Center from September 2016 to August 2017. Baiyun Yao began a career in biostatistics at the Boston University Statistical Consulting Unit, providing research assistance from September 2010 to August 2016, and held an internship at Takeda Oncology in the summer of 2014. Baiyun Yao holds a PhD in Biostatistics from Boston University and a Master of Arts in Statistics from the University of Delaware.
