Matt Timbrell IEAus/GAICD is an experienced project management professional with a strong background in the mining and resources sector. Currently serving as General Manager - Major Projects at Talison Lithium since August 2021, Matt oversees strategic growth expansion projects at the Greenbushes lithium operations in Western Australia. Previous roles include Project Director for the Awak Mas Gold Project at PT Masmindo Dwi Area, Senior Project Manager at PT Archi Resources, and Project Manager at Engenium, where significant projects involved lithium processing facilities. Matt's extensive experience also includes senior project management positions at Fortescue Metals Group and Cazaly Resources Limited, as well as foundational roles at Rio Tinto and WMC Resources. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from The University of Western Australia and completion of the Company Director Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
